Legio XIII

Hoy he dado una vuelta por el centro, y delante de una tienda de tatuajes he pensado en los que me querria hacer. Uno de ellos, que iria en la muñeca, seria el emblema del estandarte romano de las legiones, el S.P.Q.R rodeado por un laurel y con LEG. XIII debajo. Con él, quiero mostrar el amor que siento por Roma y en especial por Julio César, ya que la LEGIO XIII fue una de sus favoritas junto con la Décima. Yo siempre he preferido la Decimotercera, quizas porque en la serie de "Roma" los protagonistas estan enrolados en ella. Por ello, pondre un poco de informacion acerca de esta Legion, y a continuacion una cancion de Ex Deo, que les ha dedicado.

LEGIO XIII

Sobrenombre: GEMINA.

Divisa: León.

Fundador: Julio César.

Año de fundación: 57 aC.

Historia: La XIII Gemina fue creada por César para enfrentarse a la amenaza de los belgas. Fueron los hombres de la Decimotercera los que cruzaron el Rubicón con César y le acompañaron en Dirraquio, Farsalia y Munda. Sus veteranos recibieron tierras en España. Combatió contra Sexto Pompeyo y tras las guerras civiles fue destinada al Ilírico y participó en el ataque que llegó hasta el Elba. Tras el desastre de Varo defendió los pasos de Italia en los Alpes y Claudio la envió a Panonia. Participó en combates en Siria con Lucio Vero y terminó a comienzos del siglo V en Bulgaria.
